Just-Ask's room booking system allows client's to display all the
available meeting rooms in each building along with photographs and
details, such as hours of availability, maximum occupancy etc and
the standard equipment available in each room.
Each employee creates a unique account and is then authorised to
view and select rooms based on availability.
|
Each booking is displayed on a grid available for all staff
to view. However, users are only able to manipulate their
own reservations not those of other users.
Each users contact details are available with the details
of each booking. This policy encourages users to speak with
each other in order to negotiate room swapping etc. The hiring
of 'floating' resources, such as OHP's and lightpro's works
in the same fashion in that this equipment is available on
a first come first served basis.

Hotelling
Just-Ask is constantly seeking to provide enhancements that will
benefit all clients and the latest enhancement to the room booking
system is the introduction of a hotelling style ordering service.
With office space and meeting rooms always so scarce there is a
requirement in certain companies for employees to have shared workspaces.
Just-Ask's hotelling system will allow staff to reserve offices
and workstations on a daily basis with a notice period to be defined
by the client. The system will allow those staff with allocated
offices or desks to 'own' the desk/office but other users will be
able to book them when the owner is away from the office with prior
consent.
